Summer's Here!

I've really been slacking lately with keeping the blog updated. Now that summer is here and we can take outdoor photos, I promise to get better! The boys are in such a fun place right now - so cute, sweet and tremendously silly. We really have a lot of fun together. I'm trying to appreciate these moments as I know they are fleeting! The love playing in the water, especially Luke. I swear we "water the flowers" every day so he gets a chance to play with the hose.

Father's Day Fun

We had a wonderful time celebrating Father's Day last weekend. It was a beautiful day and it was the first time in a while that we had a "family" day. I asked Luke what he wanted to give Daddy and he said "A goodie bag". So we went shopping and he picked out a bunch of little gifts to put in a bag. The favorite was the basketball game where the basket was on Daddy's head! Later Weston put on a little show...

Last Day of School

Today was the last day of preschool! I can't believe it's over - Luke and I both cried! My baby is growing up.

Mother's Day Tea

Luke's preschool hosted a Mother's Day tea last week. It was so sweet. The kids put on a little show, then we sat down for drinks, a snack and a few games of Bingo! Luke was so extremely excited whenever he got Bingo! Here are some pics of Luke singing.

Swim Lessons

We in the midst of the daunting task of swim lessons for Luke... It's SLOW going... I swear we're going to be in lessons for the next 10 years! But it is pretty cute to watch him when he actually focuses!

Weston on the Stairs

Weston has decided to start walking down the stairs rather than crawling. While this is necessary for his development, it's terrifying for Mommy! But also incredibly cute to see how proud he is of himself.

Toothbrush

Weston absolutely LOVES his toothbrush. Every morning he walks around with it in his mouth for as long as we will let him. Developing good brushing habits! Which reminds me, we had an AMAZING dental visit for Luke on Monday. Third time's a charm! He sat back in the chair, wore glasses and had a full exam and cleaning without so much as a peep. Mommy was nearly in tears!

Easter Egg Hunt

We had a lovely brunch with KK, GG, Aunt Sissy and Uncle Nate! Weston put on quite the show... He was excited to have everyone over. He didn't stop jabbering throughout the entire meal. After brunch we went outside for an egg hunt. Weston required a bit of assistance but managed to find a few. Luke was so sweet - he shared some of his eggs with Weston when he realized Wes was short.
