Luke has Teeth!

Luke sure surprised us today! I had some trouble putting him down for his afternoon nap (to put it mildly), and when he opened his mouth to cry, I found out his little secret. Mommy picked a bad day to go out shopping... She was ridiculously excited to see them!

First Trip to the Zoo

Luke visited the zoo for the first time while we were in Omaha. He loved the aquarium where he could see all the colorful fish swimming around. He didn't like the train so much - every time the whistles would blow he would jump, stick his lip out and start wailing!

What a Day!

First of all, I am extremely excited to announce that I (Erin) slept through the night last night for the first time in about 5 months. Yea! Luke has been sleeping all night for the past few nights, but I kept waking up regardless. Finally, I slept from 9:30-5:30. I'm not getting my hopes up that it's going to last, but it sure was nice!

This afternoon we met Chase and Holli for our first pool outing. It was so much fun. Luke was a little uneasy during his first dip but by round two he was splashing around like a little fish.

As of June 1st, the Cubs are the best team in baseball! I just thought that had to be mentioned.

Luke Rolled Over to His Stomach

Luke rolled over onto his stomach this morning! He has been rolling over from his stomach to his back for quite some time, but finally figured out how to do it the other way. Unfortunately, Erin was at her friend Holly's house, so she missed it. But I have a feeling she'll see more firsts then I will over the next few years, so I don't feel too guilty...
