Big Boy Bed!

It's almost been a week now since we moved Luke into his new room and queen(!) sized bed. He's done remarkably well! We expected a transition period but it's literally gone off without a hitch. He cried for maybe five minutes the first night, but after that he hasn't take one look at his crib. Here are few pics I took after his nap today.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! We're having an amazingly beautiful day today, so we were out all morning celebrating. First we hit the park for our playgroup meeting. I brought my camera so I could test out some of the new tricks that I learned in my photo class over the weekend. Unfortunately having a toddler as your subject is not the easiest way to learn how to take pictures! But I got some fun ones. After the playground we headed to an Irish bar for lunch, which was CRAZY busy, but the boys held up well and we enjoyed some corned beef sandwiches. Expecting a long nap today!

Fun at Grandma G's

Luke is having a lot of fun at Grandma G's! We'll be sad when we leave today, but excited to see Mommy again.

Here is Luke sitting in the chair Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Mansfield got for Daddy when he was Luke's age.

Children's Museum

We spent the morning at the Omaha Children's Museum and Luke had a great time. Other than his continuing obsession with doors (and elevators), his favorite exhibits were the pneumatic ball tubes and the light piano.

Haircut

While in Omaha, we took Luke to get his hair cut at a place called Ponytails and Buzzcuts. He was a little scared at first, but settled in once he dicovered Elmo on the TV.

60s and Sunny!

We had a BEAUTIFUL afternoon today. Luke and I took advantage and spent lots of time outside.
I finally caught a smile!

He tried to make a run for it, as usual. Looking forward to getting a fence installed so we don't have to chase him all over the neighborhood.

A little breeze got ahold of his hair!

Plotting his next escape...
