Memorial Day Weekend
We headed up to the lake for the long weekend. Unfortunately, it was a bit of a disaster! Luke became with sick with croup the day we drove up, so Wednesday and Thursday nights we were up half the night. Took him to urgent care on Friday where he got a steroid shot. That helped a TON but he still wasn't feeling great and was pretty crabby. Then we had trouble with the water and Mommmy started turning orange. And to top things off, Daddy broke the hammock. Sooo... We ended up coming home early, which we were very sad about. Oh well, better luck next summer.

Dancing with Luke
Luke has taken a liking to Dancing with the Stars (especially when Erin Andrews is dancing), so I couldn't help but get a quick recording of him dancing to the music on our bed. Please excuse the condition of our room...

Help Yourself!
Luke may not look much like a Russell, but he certainly has the eating habits of a Russell! Today while I was in the bathroom he decided to help himself to some ice cream - got it out of the freezer and a spoon out of the drawer all on his own. When I walked out, there he was, sitting on the floor eating right out of the container. Reminded me an awful lot of Poppa at that moment!
