Trick-or-Treating with Lucas

Luke is, without a doubt, the slowest trick-or-treater ever! But he also might be the nicest. He always told the candy giver "Thanks" and "Have a good day", and usually told each one all about the candy he already had in his basket. He did really well overall, except for the two times he fell down the stairs (he must get that from Goey), and pulled in quite the haul. Daddy will have to take some to work to get it out of the house...

It took us about 30 shots to actually get him to smile in this one:

Trick-or-Treating with Weston

Our little Weston was a Tootsie Roll this year. Daddy thought it was a bit feminine (especially after a coworker asked how old "she" was at our company's trick-or-treat event), but I have to admit it's pretty cute. He ended up sleeping through most of the trick-or-treating as you can see in the last picture.

Pumpkin Carving

We had a great time carving pumpkins today for Halloween. Well, actually MOMMY had a great time... Luke was more excited about "treats", Weston slept all day, and Daddy was watching football.

Nana found a pair of pajamas that Uncle Dave had worn when he was about Luke's age. We put them on him last night... So cute! He wasn't too wild about the footies though!

Fun with Goey and KK

Luke had so much fun with Goey in town last weekend! Here they are outside playing in the leaves with KK... Poor Goey got pummeled with leaves. She's probably still finding them in her hair!

Gourd Times...

We had a great time with Goey today at Kuiper's Family Farm. It was Weston's first and Luke's third annual pilgrimage out to beautiful Maple Park, IL. Here are a few of the gourdgeous pictures (we'll post some more later on this weekend):

Weston just rolled over!

It took a LOT of effort - his head was over long before his body - but Weston just rolled over from his tummy to his back! Way to go Weston!

Happy 3 Months to Weston

Believe it or not, Weston is 3 months old today! We weighed him in this morning at 14lbs. 2oz. and we think he's about 24" tall. Here he is sitting in his chair. Of course big brother had to get in on the action too!

Stuck at Home

Luke and I are finding ourselves stuck at home a little more now that Weston is consistently taking a morning nap that sometimes lasts 3 hours! Ugh! Fortunately we've had some fantastic weather so we've had fun playing in the back yard.
