Weston's First Thanksgiving

Weston didn't suffer any shortage of attention on his first Thanksgiving. Don't worry Luke, we didn't forget about you - you were the CENTER of attention!

First Train Ride

Luke is enjoying his first train ride downtown en route to his first Christkindlmarket visit!

Thanksgiving #1

We celebrated Thanksgiving with Mommy's side of the family this past Saturday. It was so fun to have the Hawkins over. And our friend Meredith or "Murray" according to Luke, joined us as well. We started off the meal by toasting the newly engaged couple, Aunt Sissy and (soon-to-be) Uncle Nate. Luke wanted no part of sitting in the high chair, so he was on Daddy's lap for a while. Otherwise he just ran around and entertained us. Weston got to sit with Meredith for a little while which any guy would love!

Weston Meets the Hawkins

Weston finally got to meet Uncle Tom, Aunt Julie, Aunt Chrissy and her boyfriend Ian. Uncle Tom was especially enamoured by Weston... It was the cutest thing! Unfortunately we didn't get a pic with him and Julie so Luke stepped in as his replacement.

Weston's 4 Month Appointment

We visited Dr. Christensen last Thursday for Weston's 4 month appointment. He is now 15lbs. 1oz. (50%) and 26" tall (83%) and doing great! The most amazing part of the visit was when he got his vaccinations - one shot in each thigh and HE DIDN'T CRY! As a mother you have to prepare yourself for the shots - they usually involve screaming at intesities you have never heard before and never hope to again! So to hear virtually nothing... A shock in itself!!! We've decided he's going to be a tough guy... :) We also got the go-ahead to start cereal, so here he is somewhat enjoying it!

Are you kidding me?

I know he's my child but there's no words to describe how cute this pic is... I've got more to come once I figure out these new cool photoshop techniques to use...

Family Heirlooms

Luke has taken a liking to the chest that previously belonged to my Grandma Cushing and before that my Great Grandma Cushing. He loves to lay or sit on it while watching TV and uses it to climb onto our bed. I find it fascinating to see him utilizing something that has been in our family for generations!

Weston is 4 Months Today!

Our baby is 4 months today! Unbelievable. He celebrated by sleeping 11.5 hours last night. Yea! Here are his chair pics - a few with big brother too of course. We tried to get Luke to hold Weston on his lap but that obviously didn't go too well! We'll post his updated specs after his doc apppointment on Thursday.
