Merry Christmas! (a day late)

We had a delightful Christmas day yesterday... It was so fun to see Luke absolutely glowing and giddy the entire day. This was the most exciting year yet for him and it brought us so much joy to see him so happy. We started off early with stockings and presents from Santa, then the Russell clan arrived for more presents and dinner. Thank goodness Nana was there to completely take over dinner as I was too sick to function. So, it wasn't a perfect Christmas but pretty great nonetheless! Now we get to look forward to another celebration with Daddy's side this weekend.

A lot changes in five years!

Hard to believe that five years ago Christmas day I was pregnant with Luke and Aunt Sissy was being silly and put a ball in her tummy. Two kids later it was finally my turn to NOT be pregnant at Christmas and Sarah's turn instead. Of course, as sick as I was, it wasn't much more enjoyable! But we had a laugh. Especially when the boys decided they wanted to play along too.

Luke's Preschool Christmas Program

Luke had the most adorable program at school on Thursday. All the boys were dressed as reindeer and sang songs to us. Weston clapped after each song. Then Santa arrived! Luke was the first to greet him and sit on his lap.

We had KK over for her birthday the other day and had lots of fun!

Weston's Debut

Weston had his first public performance this afternoon at the PDO Sing. He spent most of the time staring at Daddy and the video camera but did manage to ring his bells a little. And then, during story time, pooped his pants. (big sigh) Hence the reason he is not sitting down with the other children.

Advent Calendar

Great Aunt Julie sent the boys the cutest advent calendar in the form of a string of lights! I had been searching for one unsuccessfully so I was thrilled when they opened this one. And Luke has had so much fun discovering the surprise in each light. Thank you Julie!
