Weston's Preschool Party
This had to be one of the most hilarious things I have ever seen in my life. Weston was SO not into his preschool party... "I don't like this party"... and it showed! The video is priceless. Will post soon.

Polar Express
We had a great time riding the Polar Express to the North Pole (Elburn) last weekend. Weston was a little skittish of Santa, but Luke enjoyed every minute of it. He even sang Jingle Bells in front of the whole train. Quite the performer!
Santa greeted us with a snow ball when we picked him up. He may have had a bit too much eggnog that morning.
The big man is here!
Luke was not bashful in telling him that Hex bugs and Bey Blades are on his Xmas list this year..
Cookie Time!

And last but not least, here is Luke's performance of Jingle Bells!

Santa's Letter
Luke and Weston received a Letter from Santa (via Buddy) thanking them for being such good boys yesterday. Luke cleaned up the basement, they helped us decorate cookies, and played really well together sold day. Here is Luke reading the letter from Santa.

First snow...
This is where I found Luke when I came downstairs yesterday morning... He had moved a dining room chair over to the window so he could observe the snowfall we had received the day before. A rare and precious quiet moment for this noisy boy!

Where has the time gone?
I cannot believe we are already well into November. Since the start of school, the weeks have been flying by - too fast! Luke is nearly halfway through kindergarten. We had his 1st parent-teacher conference last night and he is doing so well. Already meeting the requirements they hope to achieve by the end of the year. He just loves to learn and soaks everything up. He's become quite the reader and we are amazed every time he deciphers a word or sentence on his own. It's both overwhelming and fascinating to watch him growing up.
We had a super fun soccer season! Coach Hibbard did a wonderful job with the kids and we look forward to hopefully being on his team again.
My friend Ruthie just gave me copies of this photo from the Mother's Day Tea at Luke's preschool back in May. I had to post it because he already looks so much older to me!

Halloween 2013
Another wild and crazy Halloween has passed us by… It started out a little rough - lots of RAIN! But the boys had such a fun day. Started out with parades and parties at Enrichment and Preschool for both of them. Then Luke had another parade and party at Kindergarten. And finally a fun night of trick or treating and pizza with the neighbors. We'll post photos of the evening festivities later.
