Sledding Date

Luke and I had a delightful sledding date at Newton Park yesterday. We had the freshly snowed hill all to ourselves! It was amazing. And, of course, we had to follow it up with a trip to Starbucks for hot chocolate.

Crazy Weather

What a week this has been weather wise! First pic is from Monday when were able to go to the park, the second is from yesterday after a massive snow storm moved through. No wonder these boys have constant runny noses.

Box Monster

Registered!

Today has been a big day for Luke... We registered for Kindergarten (sniff, sniff)! Mommy was a little emotional afterward... No surprise there! It's so hard to believe that he will be starting next fall. Very exciting.

Maryland Trip

Uncle Kevin took a trip to Maryland this weekend to see Kimberly and Marissa. We had a lot of fun touring DC and Alexandria. Marissa is a blast - it was fun watching her climb over the dogs and play with her cars.

I also happened to have the best crab cake of my life at The Wharf in Alexandria. I will definitely be going back here sometime.

Thanks again for all your hospitality Kimberly. I had a great time!

Cousin Joey

The boys got to meet Cousin Joey last night. It went remarkably well - no crying from Weston while Mommy and Daddy held him! Poor little Joey didn't know what to think of all the ruckus going on. He was awake almost the whole time we were there! Pretty soon he'll be running circles around the house with them.

Luke's 5th Birthday Party

On Sunday we also celebrated Luke's 5th Birthday! We had a joint party with his friend Henry, who turns 5 on the 14th. Henry's parents were so kind to host 23 children (mostly boys) in their home! The theme was "snow party" and miraculously we received a considerable amount of snow just before the party. Let's just say it was WILD. But the boys had a ton of fun.

Baby Joey

We are thrilled to announce that Luke and Weston have another cousin! Joseph Hopkins was born yesterday at 4:37am. The boys literally started jumping up and down when we told them the news. Wish we had a camera on hand - it was so cute. Hopefully they will get to meet him this weekend.
