Pizza Fridays

Today was our first Pizza Friday!  This may be a new family tradition where we make our own pizza. 

There was a bit of a learning curve on our first attempt as Daddy loaded all the toppings on the dough on Luke's pizza before putting it on a pan. We somehow got the the pizza on the pan, but it wasn't pretty. It still tasted good though!  

Weston pizza turned out better but we used Boboli premade crust in that one. 

All in all, it was really fun. I think we'll be doing it again soon.

I had Weston's preschool conference and it went great! He is doing so well at school... We couldn't be more proud of him.

Happy 6th Birthday Luke!

Luke is 6! Can you believe it? We have had such a fun weekend celebrating. His birthday was on Friday, so that evening we went to Dave and Busters to have dinner and play some games. When we got home, we lit up his amazing Jayhawk birthday cake! The big party took place on Saturday afternoon. We had a party with his buddies at Fox Bowl. It was wild, of course! But Luke had a great time. I especially love the photo we took with his friend Charlie. It's hard to believe these boys have been friends since 6 weeks of age (sniff, sniff).

Let the birthday celebrations begin!

It's February and that means birthday time for Luke and Baby Joey! We began the celebration this past Saturday night while Nana and Poppa were in town with a trip to Benihana. All the boys had a great time watching our dinner being cooked on the table. On Sunday, Joey had his first birthday celebration and we learned that he is going to be having a baby brother in August! We are so excited to be adding another to our clan of boys. It's going to be seriously wild here in a few years.
