Tball Kick Off

Yea! It's tball season! We had the kick-off on Saturday morning. It started with a parade around the fields with all the teams sporting their new gear. And we are the Cubs! Imagine that! We are excited to begin this journey… summers filled with games and practices like Kevin and I experienced as kids.

I'm thrilled to announce that Weston is officially potty trained. I am truly amazed at how quickly and easily he picked it up. We had his sticker chart up for only about a week. I couldn't be more proud of him. Such a good boy!

Finally a day at the park!

We took advantage of the momentary break between cool temps and rain to spend some time at the park. It felt wonderful to finally be outside and see some buddies. These boys definitely need their outdoor time. Their energy is unbelievable!

Happy Easter!

Well, sort of happy! We were sick, believe it or not. What a bummer. But we managed to have some fun anyway... On Saturday, before we got sick, we went to an Easter Egg Hunt at St. Pet's church with our friends the Bakkens. The boys had a blast hunting eggs together... Well, Luke got a little emotional since he only got EIGHT eggs (see pic 4). I love that photo... It totally epitomizes the boys' personalities! Ha! Easter Sunday we had to cancel brunch (do over next weekend) but we still got an egg hunt in at home. It was so adorable watching the boys hunt for eggs together. Luke was great about helping Weston find eggs and making sure they had equal numbers.

I took the boys to the Arboretum and Meatheads for lunch today. Good times!

Vacation has begun!

All of the boys bellied up to the bar as soon as we arrived at the resort today. And tonight L & W are sleeping in the same bed together. Wish us luck!

Sledding Date

Luke and I had a delightful sledding date at Newton Park yesterday. We had the freshly snowed hill all to ourselves! It was amazing. And, of course, we had to follow it up with a trip to Starbucks for hot chocolate.

Crazy Weather

What a week this has been weather wise! First pic is from Monday when were able to go to the park, the second is from yesterday after a massive snow storm moved through. No wonder these boys have constant runny noses.
