Happy Birthday Grandma B (a day late)!

Yesterday we celebrated Grandma B's birthday together. Here's Luke showing off the hat she made for him.


We also celebrated a big KU football win over MU today. We decided Luke was good luck since he was decked out in all of his KU gear.

Happy Turkey Day!

Luke wants to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. We spent the day at home with friends and family. In fact, Luke's two best friends, Chase and Charlie joined in the festivities. As expected, Luke destroyed his first turkey dinner including mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry chutney, corn casserole, and pumpkin pie. We'll post more pictures as we receive them...

Ready for Basketball!

Luke is pumped for basketball season. Unfortunately he has to go to bed before the KU game starts tonight, so we're watching Indiana now. Go Jayhawks! He's wearing the same onesie that we put him in for pics right after coming home from the hospital. It was so big then! Now it fits perfectly!

Sneak Peek!

We had another 9 month photo session yesterday for Luke... It was a bit of a struggle trying to get him to sit still! So, we tried to put him in a basket for a few pics. Needless to say, that didn't last long! The rest of the pics should be ready in a week or two.

Happy Birthday Aunt Sissy!

What a fun day... We bought an ottoman to replace our coffee table while Luke is testing his mobility. We set it up during his nap and when he got up he crawled right over to it and pulled himself up to standing for the first time! Guess we got it just in time. Tonight we are all going out to dinner with Aunt Sissy to celebrate her birthday.

9 Month Appointment

We saw Dr. Christensen this morning for Luke's 9 month appointment. He's doing great! Weighed in at 23.10 lbs., 30" (6 mo. measurement was incorrect) and 19" head circumference. He's still in the nineties for all percentiles. Big boy! He now gets to eat pretty much anything, which will make Thanksgiving lots of fun! Hard to believe his next appt. will be his 1 year.

Happy 9 Months to Luke!

OK, getting Luke to sit still in the chair is next to impossible now... I'll definitely have to have Kevin's help next month!!! I also included a pic I took of him waiting at the back door for me. Can you imagine a better way to be greeted?

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-BAMA!!!!

We hit the polls bright and early this morning to cast our votes. Luke almost got charged with a felony for entering the voting booth with me. Fortunately he was able to sweet babble his way out of it. We are having a family election party tonight. Can't wait to see the results!
