First Day of Preschool

Today was Luke's first day of Preschool (sniff, sniff). It was more of an open house format today, so Weston and I were there the whole time. Next week will start the official drop offs. He did great. One of his teachers, Mrs. DaLuna, greeted him at the door, helped him find his cubby and gave him a brief description of how the day gets started. He responded very well! Once he got into the classroom he made himself at home in the play area. Later he showed off to his other teacher, Mrs. Halford, by counting the numbers 1-13 that were hanging on the wall. I feel like Luke is really growing up. It is a huge step for both of us to start school, but I know he needs it and will love it!

  4. You're going to love school, Luke! Wish I were closer. We would have you reading well before kindergarten.
