3 Year Appointment

Today we had Weston's 3 year appointment. 3 years!!!!! He did remarkably well. The doctor said he went through a considerable growth spurt over the last year. Big boy indeed! And no shots this time, so that was a relief, for both of us!

Positively Play

Weston has been taking a summer camp called "Positively Play". Basically it's an introduction to preschool. It has worked out wonderfully because he is in the same classroom that Luke was in last year and with one of Luke's teachers! So Weston was very excited that he FINALLY got to stay! I have to say, it is literally one of the cutest things I have ever seen when he walks (runs!) into class with his little backpack bouncing behind him. Once he hangs up his backpack, he finds his name, puts it on the board, then goes and sits on the letter W. It's really too cute for words.

Bye bye Miss Lauren!

Now that Weston is 3, our Early Intervention speech therapy had to come to an end. We were so sad to say goodbye to our therapist Lauren, whom both the boys adored. Weston made remarkable progress with her assistance. We are excited to see how he does when he starts up in the fall with the school district program.

Here are some more photos from Weston's party yesterday. My goodness he is a little ham! We had such a fun day and he received some awesome gifts from his buddies. So hard to believe the little guy is 3. He is starting to look so grown up.

Happy Birthday Weston!

Today is Weston's 3rd birthday! And it's been a fun one… We had a great party at the splash park with 15 of his friends and parents. The photos below are when we were singing Happy Birthday to him… His facial expressions were priceless! More photos to come...

Back from the Lake

We just got back from our 4th of July trip to the lake. Another wonderful time! It gets more and more fun as the boys get older. This time they even went on their first canoe trip down the Namekagon River. They did great considering it was a two hour trip. They also had fun riding the "motorcycle" as Weston likes to call the jet ski. Luke was obsessed with how everything "worked". My goodness that child has a lot of questions, as the relatives came to find out! He was especially fascinated with the fireworks (which they both enjoyed, surprisingly), how the boat worked, and, of course, the hose and sprinklers.
