Cookies For Santa!

Christmas Eve Presents

We opened family presents on Christmas Eve and Luke and Wes made out like bandits. Luke especially loved the little laptop he received, and we'll see how he does with the Lincoln Logs. He may still be a little young for them, but at least Daddy can play with them in the meantime.

Happy Little Reindeer

Goey surprised us all with reindeer antlers on Christmas Eve, so we thought we'd share with the world how ridiculous we all look. Let's hope this isn't the start of a family tradition. :)

Breakfast with Santa

It's a Christmas Miracle! Luke actually sat on Santa's lap without tears! He WANTED to do it. We were amazed. Of course the only time Weston DOESN'T smile is when we put him on Santa's lap. Oh well. Guess they switched roles today. Luke's friend Alex was also there - she was thoroughly enjoying a cookies as she sat on Mrs. Claus' lap.

Wild Things

Luke's buddy Charlie came over the other day to play. What fun these two have together! It's hilarious to watch them interact, especially as they are destroying the house as you'll see below. Fortunately they are both good boys who pick up after themselves. Well, maybe after they've been offered a few snacks!

Weston is 5 Months Old!

Today our little guy is 5 months old and as cute as ever! Weston is just the sweetest thing, we can't get over it. We think he's gained about a pound and a half putting him at 16.5 and grown to about 26.5 inches. He's doing great with his solid food - we've started vegetables and despite a few grimaces has grown to enjoy his peas! He seems to be working hard on getting some teeth in - you'll see in one of the pics below he's started sucking in his lower lip, probably to chew on. So cute!!! He's very excited for his first Christmas and loves wearing the outfits Aunt KK bought for him...

Taking Care of Business

Daddy had a dentist appointment this afternoon, so he asked me if I could fill in for him at work. At first, I was a bit confused - I mean, I'm only 5 months old, you know? It's not like I'm the E*Trade baby after all...

But after a while, I kind of warmed up to the idea. Work might be kind of fun...

Yeah, this is going to be great. I get to ride in a car, sit in front of a computer screen all day where I can watch Sesame Street on-line...This is going to be great!

No wonder Daddy went to the dentist! Work stinks! I'd rather be at the dentist, too. Wait, what's a dentist??

Checking Out Our First Snowfall

Nana's 60th Birthday

We celebrated Nana's 60th birthday the Sunday after Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful brunch at Shaw's Crabhouse and Mommy was very much in her happy place as she had not had raw oysters since Weston was born. It was heaven! Luke dined mostly on gummy fish and M&Ms but he was such a good boy. He had tons of fun riding the elevator over and over, even by himself a couple of times!

Thanksgiving #2

Here are some much overdue pics of our second Thanksgiving with Daddy's side of the family. We also had our good friends the Lincolns join us. Their adorable daughter Alexandra and Luke had a ball playing together. Luke even held her hand and gave her hugs and kisses. Tooooo cute. We had a wonderful time and even Mommy and Daddy got a rare (these days) picture together!
